Kaz received his Structural Engineering degree from the SD School of Mines & Technology in 2009. He has worked in all aspects of the building process from an initial design to the completion. He is committed to continuing the quality and reputation of log home building that the Dewitt created.

TIMBER FRAME HOMES
Because fewer logs are used compared to a full scribe, these home builds are more cost-effective. With large timbers as structural support, timber frame homes allow for pushing the boundaries with complexity and style. Usually, timbers are seen on the interior of the house, with traditional options covering the outside.

We can provide custom drawings in an AutoCAD or Revit format that are suitable for permit submittal. The design firm we use works closely with the engineer to design and detail a plan that works. We can also customize any plan we already have to work for you and your building site. The engineering firm we use is based in Vancouver, Washington, and can stamp designs in many states. We have worked exclusively with the same firm for 10 years, establishing an efficient style and set of details that keeps your project on budget and on time.
